Training for High-Demand Manufacturing Jobs!

Manufacturers across the region are hiring persons with advanced manufacturing skills, especially CNC machinists and welders. Read more about it here.
Training for these in-demand manufacturing jobs is available at education institutions across the region.

The WCOMC, through Rhodes State College, will be offering its two-course CNC certificate in the Spring Quarter, beginning March 26. This 10-week, two night per week program includes courses in AutoCAD and CNC programming. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 to 10:20 p.m. The certificate stacks into a Associate’s in Technical Studies degree. Click here. for details. West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium

The West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium (WCOMC) is a group of manufacturers dedicated to improving the manufacturing workforce in the West Central Ohio region. The group has worked closely with many local educational institutions to develop a Manufacturing Pathways Certification Program that prepares workers for the high-tech positions required in today's modern manufacturing workplace. The program prepares participants to be highly productive workers, utilizing their skills to produce quality products for the consortium members' customers.
